Job description - NOC Manager

realTime is seeking an experienced Manager to run a Network Operations Centre (NOC).

You will be responsible for building and running this Clients NOC to ensure the underlying platform runs 24/7 without interruption.

You will join a Client experiencing strong growth, and who are assembling a formidable, adaptable team.

Required Skills include:

• Strong understanding of the following - networking protocols, VPNs, clustered SQL databases, Web application design, internet architecture, load balancing
• Proven Team leadership within a NOC environment, empowering the members of the NOC
• Previous experience in defining, rolling out and maintaining robust and effective escalation procedures in a NOC environment
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• 6-8 years commercial experience in a similar environment
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team
• You must have experience Managing an overseas team in this field
• A proactive person with a desire to bring improvements to the NOC, constantly looking a different ways to develop and create greater efficiencies
• A Degree in Computer Science
