Job description - SAP SD - PERMANENT

realTime is seeking an experienced SAP SD and SCM candidate for an excellent role with a Client experiencing growth in the current market.

Key Responsibilities

Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:

• Acting as a regional or global expert providing second and third level support for business processes in SD and possibly SCM also
• Primarily responsible for incident resolution and support of the existing SAP system
• In addition to support participation in key projects per the IT project plan e.g. new implementations of the SAP system in business units, automation projects, system upgrades.
• Managing and/or performing the design, testing and application of the SAP system in line with agreed timeframes, business requirements and global standards.
• Carrying out detailed impact assessments for proposed change requests, proposing alternative cost-effective solutions where appropriate.
• Ensuring appropriate business involvement in project teams to build ownership for solutions.

Essential Skills / Experience

• Minimum 4 years of IT Experience, ERP Certification in at least one module or significant experience with SAP, familiar with Master Data Management,
• In-depth experience in SD Configuration and also complex pricing procedures is essential.
• Strong business acumen; 
• Excellent leadership skills with ability to influence management and collaborate with others;
• Strong problem solving skills for developing creative solutions and meeting project objectives are required;
• Excellent analytical ability; Familiar with ITIL concepts of Service Support
• Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science or Engineering desirable.
• Approachable and enthusiastic.
• Be available to carry out some Travel to Europe and occasionally US and Asia
• Able to work on own initiative and as a team player.
