Job description - ABAP - PERMANENT

realTime is seeking an experienced ABAP candidate with 4+ years experience to work with a large Client in Dublin with ambitious growth plans.

You will join an existing development team ensuring continuity of high quality output, working alongside Senior and Junior ABAP developers. You will work closely with the functional team also and ensure you understand what they are looking to achieve and put in place technical designs off the back of your meetings. You will be expected to challenge and suggest alternatives in your efforts to provide the best solution so they are looking for someone who is accustomed to showing initiative on a daily basis. Working on new projects as well as 'Business As usual' support is all a part of this role.

• Smartforms, SAP Scripts, Adobe Interactive / PDF Forms
• OO ABAP Programming
• ALV Reporting • EDI and IDOC Processing
• Enhancements using User Exists and BADI's & Screen Exits
• Screen Painter, Menu Painter
• BDCs / LSMW
• Workflow

To succeed in this role, you will be a strong team player with the ability to deliver on your own. You must also have experience in an ECC environment and also be able to work with virtual teams.
