IT Service Desk Administrator

 

realTime Recruitment urgently require an outstanding IT Service Desk Administrator for a one year fixed-term contact based in Dublin City Centre. This role is based with one of Ireland’s most influential financial bodies and it certainly represents a potential springboard for your IT career.

 

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Support and maintenance of the PC and printer network.
  • Helpdesk support for all applications
  • Daily maintenance and support of corporate applications/office tools.
  • Installation and upgrade of all PC hardware and software

 

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

 

  • At least 2 years experience in a similar position.
  • Working knowledge of network administration.
  • A strong background in MS Exchange 2007/2010 and Active Directory.
  • Experience in MS Office and Outlook 2007/2010
  • Extensive experience working with MS Windows XP/7
  • VMware, TCP/IP, IP Telephony and ITIL experience would be advantageous
