Job description - Storage Administrator

Storage Administrators Required

realTime Recruitment urgently require experienced Storage Administrators for an exciting role based in Dublin. This is a contract role, with a view to going permanent.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Responsible for overall administration of the enterprise storage environment
• Perform technical tasks based around operating systems, networking, databases, backup and recovery and disaster recovery operations.
• Development of design specifications, author internal documentation and participate in the review of these documents.

The successful candidates will have the following skills and experience:

• 4+ years storage experience with a strong background in EMC technologies
• Strong working knowledge and administrative experience of EMC Symmetrix, EMC ClARiiON, EMC Centera and EMC Celerra storage subsystems
• Extensive SAN configuration/administration in a CISCO MDS environment
• Extensive knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008, Server Clustering, Linux, VMware and SQL Server 2005/2008
• EMC Proven Professional Certification highly desired
