Agile Project Manager for realTime recruitment.
realTime is seeking an AGILE PROJECT MANAGER for a terrific Dublin based Client.
My Client needs you to manage a number of agile projects in an outsourcing environment with the responsibility for the delivery of solutions to meet customer specific requirements to agreed time, budget and quality standard that will enhance their current product suite offering.
Main Responsibilities
- Managing an Agile team of cross functional disciplines to design and deliver solutions in response to specific customer requirements to agreed time, budget and quality standard.
- Interfacing with the Development Manager to ensure that development is on-track and provides/seeks regular feedback on project progress and status
- Applies and implements industry standard practices for software development lifecycle in collaboration with the Client and their local development team
Key skills / experience:
- 5 years Scrum master experience of agile projects using user stories of web-based solutions using J2EE
- Strong, proven leadership capability
- Provide mentoring and support to agile team in scrum best practices and agile development approaches
- Understands and can provide leadership on agile release management Vs traditional lifecycle
- Full Agile Development Lifecycle experience
- Excellent People Management
- Strong customer focus
- Technical background in designing, development and unit testing in a J2EE environment
- Experience of JBoss/Web Logic, Apache, Tomcat, EJBs, JSP, JDBC, MySQL, JUNIT, PL/SQL environments
- Strong software design skills
- Experience in collaborating closely with fellow developers and providing guidance, mentoring and leadership
- Adaptable, flexible with a proven experience of delivering quality solutions in a fast-moving business environment
- Computer Science degree or equivalent
Desirable
- Experience of managing projects in outsourcing environment
- Appreciation and experience of open source technologies
- Project Management Certification
- Familiarity and experience with agile methods and best practice software engineering practices as they apply to agile development
